MCA demand Jobs for Locals During Kongowea Level 4 Hospital Construction

Kongowea MCA Samuel Mwaura has called for local residents to be given priority for jobs during the construction phase of the Kongowea Level 4 Hospital in Nyali Constituency.

Speaking during the groundbreaking ceremony, which was presided over by Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir, Mwaura (UDA) said the move would have a positive economic impact on residents.

He also expressed optimism about winning a second term as area representative and lauded the broad-based government for prioritising development over politics.

Nassir vowed to rename the hospital “Raila Odinga Kongowea Hospital” upon its completion. The project is expected to cost KSh 250 million.
