Ol Kalou Mp Dies in India


Ol Kalou Member of Parliament David Njuguna Kiaraho has died while undergoing specialized treatment in India.

The Mp died today  Sunday, after a period of illness. Kiaraho was first elected in 2013 and retained his Ol Kalou seat in the 2017 and 2022 General Elections.


The late Mp served in key committees, including Transport, Public Works & Housing, and Procedure & House Rules in the national assembly.

His death comes a few weeks after the death of another Mp Johanna Ng'eno of Emurua Dikir in a helicopter crash.

The deceased death in India reminisce the demise of  opposition leader Raila Odinga who also died in India while undergoing treatment in October, 2025.

Government Urged to End Abductions Across the Country

Center for Litigation Trust (CFLT) has condemned the recent abduction of Standard group Editor Alex Kiprotich. The  independent Pan-African public interest law center emphasized the need for Journalists to be protected to be able to perform their duties.  The Trust's Executive Director Mr. Julius Ogogoh further demanded the government to issue a public statement rejecting forced dissapearance and abductions.
